Low Balance Transfer Queuing
With Cashfree Payments, you (merchants) don't have to reinitiate payouts when they fail due to insufficient balance in your Cashfree Wallet or connected fund sources. We hold these transfers in a queue and process the payouts once you add sufficient funds.
Maximum Low Balance Queuing Time
Multiple payouts fail due to insufficient balance, and merchants reinitiate payouts after adding sufficient funds in the connected fund sources or Cashfree Wallet. To reduce your intervention, we provide you with the capability of configuring maximum low balance queuing time.
It is the time when payouts are held in a queue until sufficient funds are added to process them. If you do not add sufficient funds in your wallet or connected fund source within the configured time, the system will move the payouts from the queue to a failed state.
Configure Maximum Low Balance Queuing Time
To enable low balance queuing time, contact the account manager or write to us at [email protected] with the account ID and the desired time for the payouts to be held in queue. You can also disable the transfer queue for your account.
You can set from a minimum of 1 hour to a maximum of 10 days as the queuing time. For an example, if you set 2 days as the maximum low balance queuing time, you have 48 hours to add sufficient balance in your Cashfree Wallet or connected fund sources.
Default Queuing Time
The default queuing time is 4 days for wallet fund sources.
Note that for both the wallet and connected fund sources, the same queuing time is applicable.
