How does Router increase the success rate of payments?
Router monitors the success rate of payments across payment gateways for all payment modes. Whenever a dip in success rate is seen, Router automatically routes the transaction through the next preferred payment gateway.
What is gateway distribution?
Gateway distribution is the concept of allocating the percentage of transactions that go to each payment gateway. Let us assume you are live on two payment gateways such as Paytm and Razorpay.
The gateway with the highest percentage will be considered the priority gateway, and if there is any downtime in this gateway, the payments are routed via the next highest percentage gateway.
Can I delete a rule?
No, you cannot delete a rule. You can only disable a rule.
What are the options based on which you can create rules?
You can create rules based on the following:
- Order currency
- Volume
- Payment mode
- Card types
- Card country
- Other business factors
How many rules can I create in Router?
There is no limit on the number of rules you can create in Router.
How to enable seamless option?
To use Router, the selected payment gateway account should have the seamless option enabled. To enable the seamless option, write to your corresponding payment gateway relationship manager asking to enable seamless mode for your account. Mention that you are using Cashfree Payments as the technology company to handle sensitive card data.
What is Token Vault?
Token Vault is a complete tokenisation solution through which you can assign tokens. These tokens act as proxies for card details and save customer cards for all the major card networks. You can save card tokens and process payments without compromising on security (100% RBI compliant).
Does Token Vault support tokenisation of VISA credit and debit cards?
Yes, Token Vault supports tokenisation of VISA credit and debit card. You can tokenise VISA debit and credit cards, and retrieve them whenever your customers try to access the saved cards.
What are the card details a merchant can save when the tokenisation is in place?
Merchants can store only the last 4 digits of the actual card number, card scheme, and issuing bank name. They cannot store details such as card BIN, card expiry, or CVV.
