We have introduced a new feature that allows you to set the Subscription's Expiry date as open-ended. You now have the flexibility to choose the "Until Cancelled" option for the Expiry date of a Subscription, indicating that the Subscription will remain active until you or your customer cancels it. This feature is specifically designed for merchants operating in B2C Saas, Ecommerce, Investments & Broking industries, catering to customers who may have uncertainties about the duration of their Subscriptions. For instance, popular services like BigBasket Daily, NuaWomen, Groww, Netflix and many others fall into this category. Read more here.

You can now pass subscription tags for sending in additional data fields when creating a subscription. These tags can be passed only via "Create Subscription with Plan ID" & "Create Subscription with Plan Info" API. Read more here.

You can now choose to set limitations on the time for a customer to complete the checkout for a Subscription authorisation via API(linkExpiry). Once this time has been breached, your customer will no longer be able to complete the authorisation and the status of the subscription will be moved to LINK_EXPIRED if there is no successful authorisation done by the customer. Introduced new subscription status - CUSTOMER_CANCELLED. This status appears when the subscription is cancelled by the customer and the subscription can no longer be debited/activated. Read more here.

Introduced new seamless APIs. With Seamless APIs, you can design your own checkout experience for your customers. This is available for eNACH & UPI AutoPay. The old seamless endpoint is now deprecated and will be supported only for those who have already integrated with this. We suggest you integrate with the new endpoint as this is designed considering the scalability for accommodating any new payment methods in subscriptions. Read more here.
