Manage Funds
Cashfree Payouts supports two ways to make payments to your party, that is, through the Recharge Account and Payouts Direct. With the Recharge Account, you have the flexibility to add funds instantly, get notified when the balance goes below the limit specified by you, and also withdraw the funds. You can withdraw funds from your Recharge Account when you need it in your registered business bank account to make payments.
Add Funds to Your Recharge Account
With a Recharge Account, you can instantly make payments to your party. You need to have a sufficient balance to make these payments. You can add funds to any of the Recharge Accounts displayed in your Payouts Dashboard from your registered business bank account only. The total available balance is displayed in your Payouts Dashboard.
To add funds to your Payouts Recharge Account, you need to first add Cashfree as a beneficiary in your registered bank account. After this, you can transfer funds from your account to the Cashfree account. Cashfree account details are available in your Payout Dashboard in the Recharge Account section.
Write to [email protected], and provide your bank details, if not done already. You can add funds from the registered bank account only.
Transfers made using IMPS are instant and the balance is immediately available in your Payouts Account. NEFT and RTGS are processed between 8 AM and 6:45 PM on all NEFT working days (Monday to Saturday, except 2nd and 4th Saturday). RTGS is not available for amounts less than Rs. 2 lakhs. There are no additional charges for topping up your payouts recharge account.
Set Low Balance Alert
You need to maintain a sufficient balance in your payouts account to make payments to your party. With the Payouts Recharge Account, you have the option to set a low balance alert. When the available balance is below the specified limit, Cashfree sends an email to your registered email ID, and you can add funds accordingly.
To set a low balance alert,
- Go to Payouts Dashboard > Accounts. Click MORE in the Available Balance section.
- In the Low Balance Alert section, click Update and specify the balance.
- Click Submit to set the specified low balance amount. When the balance goes below this limit, an email is sent to your registered email ID.
You can get information about your balance via APIs and webhooks.
